A Message from Chris
As a life-long resident of the City of Dublin, I am proud to call this extraordinary community home. Dublin does countless things well and some things extremely well; but there are also challenges ahead that will require strong leadership.
Dublin is a community of highly-educated and intelligent people who take pride in volunteerism and public service. Having grown up in Dublin (my fathers’ family moved here in 1946) I’ve learned first-hand the importance of working to improve our community and the lives of the people in it. Serving the community has always been extremely important to me. Prior to serving on City Council, I served on the Dublin Planning and Zoning Commission for nearly eight years - six of them as the Chairperson. These experiences gave me a great appreciation for the energy, new perspectives, and fresh thinking that “new sets of eyes” bring to any organization. |
I have a deep conviction that our schools are a critical component in the decisions we currently face as a community, and I have a full appreciation of Dublin’s long history of welcoming public input, robust and respectful debate, and transparency in our government processes. I am seeking reelection to City Council to help to ensure these convictions continue to be the foundation of our Community’s leadership.
